Where it all started. Restaurant Idea.

Monkey Business is a geek squad for learning design. Born out of passion and enthusiam for creating a future organization. Unestablished since 2007.

Our ideas come from afar and reach out far.  We are people who dare to make mistakes and challenge the existing systems. We are developing and de-enveloping a new kind of business. We want rewrite the rules of this domain: business and learning. Our task is to act as pilots in chaos for people who a desire to make a difference, but don’t want to walk alone. We work in partnerships internationally and are constantly looking for new ideas and partners from all over the world. Lack of imagination is the only limit. Welcome to Monkey Business!

Monkey Business is squatting at Vaajakoski Industrial Block in a beauty of nature just a stone-throw away from the city of Jyväskylä in Central Finland, and we like it! Ville and Tatu developed the idea of Monkey Business during the Team Mastery 1 starting from Finland all way back to Dec 2006 going all over Europe and then finally back to Finland after the 14 months process. Now it’s 6 of us working in our collective of yellow, playful and sincere people concentrated on More Action, More Chaos, More Mistakes and More Learning. Action = Chaos = Mistakes. Mistakes + Dialogue = Learning.

Our mission is to make the world more yellow and fun. We help to build future organizations.

I think we all have proceeded quite a bit since we first met. That is great!
